A General's meeting was held today and clan issues were discussed.  The misbehavior of clan members was discussed and decided.  Members were admonished and warned that expulsion from the clan would be the next step.  Rules were rewritten to clarify for all what is acceptable behavior.  Everybody needs to be respectful of other members.  On a sad note, Newfoundland (Ken) did not agree with the decisions made and he resigned from the clan.  Congratulations go out to Sparty, who is now promoted to LG to replace our friend Ken as leader of the 8th Platoon.

PROMOTION IN THE 7TH    Theobliz is promoted to Captain and second in command in the 7th Platoon.  Congratulations Theo!!!

In the first match of Summer Smackdown the 11th Platoon defeated the 2nd Platoon in a hard fought match, winning both maps by a total score of 232-198.  Good game 11th Platoon.

In the second match of Summer Smackdown, the Jr. Platoon outfought the 7th Platoon, taking both maps by a total score of 145-73.  Great match by all and props go to the Jr. Platoon for a great strategy and executing it well.

The website server had corrupted data (per the hosting site) and the  hosting site backup was from  6/6/2004 and now I can't access the site except by  FTP.   I wanted to let everyone know what the problem  was and I will correct it all as soon as I can.

I have heard that =Storm= is a father!  Congrtulations!  He has a son.

Happy Birthday Regulators you old bastard he is 39 today.

BONEHEAD has retired and would like everyone know.  He as appointed Malaci as the new Platoon leader of the 7th platoon.  Congratulations Malaci and we wish BONEHEAD the best.

Trich added 3 new maps to the custom map server.

My hard drive crashed so I lost some information, check the roster to see if it is correct.  I may have missed some promotions?  Promotions was given to members of the7th platoon, congratulations goes out to Zombie, Lt. Fife and Theoblitz.  Mudflap please email me with your correct information.

I was told that congratulations is in order!  Lt Col Fife got married.

LG’s Generals and GOA’s that have not joined the clan as in the new/old site please do so. That will be where all platoon and any other news that don’t need to go on the main webpage goes.  If something needs to be on the main webpage please email it to admin@oldbastardsclan.com.  We have had bad weather the last 2 nights in Texas so I am behind.  I see the Dallas and the San Jose servers are up now.  The IP’s are on the main page.

I am not sure of the full use of the new www.oldbastardsclan.aowc.net website but you will have to sign up again for the site to get on it.  Also you would have to sign up as a new clan member to be able to do much on the site.  When you rejoin the clan please fill in all the information this will be our big chance to get all the missing info from members.  I am working on the idea of converting the days a person has been member to the date you joined the clan so I don’t have to keep updating it.  Maybe the most important news goes on the main site www.oldbastardsclan.com and general day to day news by platoon leaders can go on that site. Open of Ideas so be thinking and bring it up at one of the meetings. We can make good use of the event calendar.
