ŠF had another great matchup last night, against the *MHM* clan. We played two maps and had a great time. The final scores were OBC 309, *MHM* 265. Way to go guys. Keep up the great work.

The field was set for the largest OBC match
to take place today on the map Town Assult.
Thanks to Luther and Charlie and All of Bravo for a successful time of
battle.
Bravo was victorious this time with a total score of
Bravo 491 to Charlie 343, but what was even a greater win was the
participation of members from EIGHT platoons working together and fighting
hard.
We originally had hopes that the "Company Match" would be a regular thing.
I think we learned alot today to further that goal along.

Last night a couple of
ßravo's platoons faced off in a friendly match. The map played was
Destroyed Village and ß2 took the first map on allies with a score of
154-133. After the switch in teams, ß1 took the second map on allies
146-138. In the end it was ß2 winning the match with a total score of
292-279. After much smacktalking on my part, I have to say that ß2 had an
excellent strategy and played a great match. Maybe next time I can make
roadkill out of the Moose....
It was agreed by all the "Up Chuck Company" better watch out when they
take on ßravo in the up coming company match.

There was a great battle between the Alpha 3rd Platoon, and a mixed Delta platoon. The Delta platoon pulled off the first map with a win of 50-40, but Alpha 3rd pulled together for the second map and won with a score of 159-93. The final score was Alpha 3rd 199 to Delta 143. Way to go all. It was a great time for all.

Šf Brings home another win to the clan. In a smaller sized match 3vs3, ŠF won the match with a total score of 226 ŠF to 115 326/101st AB clan. Way to go guys. Heck of a job representing OBC.

We have a one year anniversary in the OBC that was overlooked, sorry. Just want to congratulate Firemedic on his one year in OBC. Rule #23.
By joining [OBC] we expect that this is your only clan and that you to conduct yourself in a proper, respectful way where ever you may play. While we cannot force you not to join another clan, we ask that if you do, your actions in that clan may reflect on your status in this clan. We suggest that if you join another clan, do so such that your allegiance to [OBC] is not known. And at NO time will [OBC] resources be utilized, in any way, for any other clan...period.

Please welcome the newest members [OBC]Kilo BC and [OBC]Malakian BC to the clan.
With that said we have reached a landmark for OBC, we now have 250 members on the roster and more applications daily. Who would have ever thought it. When I first joined the clan we were thinking about 35 to 40 members would be a huge clan. The 3 leaders of the clan moved on and we kept it going. Two of the left the clan just about the time we got our first server (about 2 months after the clan was started). The last of the original leaders was Tow Truck{C&C} which pored long hours into the clan. It finally got to the point things was not going his way and he was tired of all the work so he quit. The new Generals and myself as lone GOA (with Bash gone) took it, we rolled up our sleeves and dug into the job at hand. One of the first things we did was ask Bash to rejoin us and be a GOA again. We have since added about 125 members to the roster since that time. I would like at this time personally thank Luther, Bubba Gump, Graham , Bash and Tricinosis. It took us all to make all the changes from servers to websites but we did it.

Well after the long awaited conclusion of Summer Smackdown it has finally come to an end. The Juniors faced off against the UK in a battle that I'm sure many wished they could of seen. The Final score was 325 to 235. The Juniors pulled off the win and are the Summer Smackdown Champs for 2004. Way to go Juniors. Congrats go out to the juniors for their team effort.
